Same night, bigger boxing
October 17 also carries a heavy boxing slate: see our guide to Dubois vs. Wardley II, Fundora vs. Hadribeaj and Figueroa vs. Kameda. The UFC card is a Paramount+ event.
The lesson
Fighting at home is an advantage and a pressure cooker. A friendly crowd adds energy, and the same energy can push a fighter into trading when the game plan says to wait. If you compete in front of friends, rehearse the first minute: the fighter who sticks to the opening plan despite the noise usually wins the rounds that matter.
Home crowds win rounds. Game plans win fights.
